About the Kutchan Local Benefit Lift Pass

  • The use of a lift pass by anyone other than the registered user at the time of purchase (including lending or resale) is strictly prohibited.
  • The purchase of a Kutchan Local Benefit lift pass is limited to one pass per day. Please do not purchase multiple passes a day.
  • Each person may purchase only one NEW pass for the Kutchan Local Benefit lift pass. After using the NEW pass, please continue to use the same lift pass card (keycard) by recharging it.
  • Once you have purchased a season pass, you may not purchase a 1 Day Pass.
  • If it is found that a lift pass has been used by someone other than the registered user, the pass will be invalidated and collected in accordance with the Lift & Gondola Rules and Regulations. In such cases, the equivalent fare and a surcharge up to the same amount will be charged. Failure to pay may result in the matter being referred to the nearest police station.
  • If any of the above prohibited actions or similar conduct is detected, the purchase information may be disclosed and their Kutchan ID+ membership suspended. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances related to such actions.

Notes on Kutchan Local Benefit Pass Purchases

  • Kutchan Local Benefit lift passes are exclusively available online, and cannot be purchased at the resort ticket booth.
  • In order to purchase a Kutchan Local Benefit lift pass, you will need to sign-up to KutchanID+ and register your MyNumber Card with the digital authentication application service provided by the Japan Digital Agency.
  • Only the purchaser may use the purchased lift pass.
  • Usage by other parties than the purchaser is prohibited, including lending, resale, etc.
  • Please note that the name, address, phone number, date of birth, and lift pass photo is required as part of the purchasing step for both 1 Day Pass and Season Pass.
  • Please upload a facial photo taken within the last three months, showing your full face from the front, without a hat, sunglasses, or goggles — similar to a photo used for identification or a passport.
    If the uploaded data (such as your photo) is deemed inappropriate, you will be contacted by email and asked to update it with the correct information. In such cases, a handling fee of JPY 3,500 (including the cost of the dedicated keycard) will be charged. The issued lift pass will be invalid until the payment has been completed.
  • If you purchase a new season pass, it can be collected in-resort at a Skiosk® Ticket Machine.
  • If you purchase a season pass recharge, the printed details registered on your key card must be rewritten.
    Please go to the nearest ski ticket counter after you have used your lift pass for the first time in the season. The card must be reprinted within 3 days of activating your pass, after which period your lift pass will become invalid.

Terms & Conditions

  • This online shop allows you to purchase HIRAFU + HANAZONO area passes.
    Please note that the Niseko United shuttle, Niseko Village Ski Resort, and Niseko Annupuri International Ski Area are not covered by these passes.
  • All purchases of online lift passes are non-refundable and non-replaceable.
    Please check the details and purchase method carefully before purchasing. Once payment has been made, changes, cancellations or refunds will not be made for any reason, including illness, injury, transportation delays or cancellations, purchase errors, weather conditions, etc.
    Please be aware of this in advance.
  • The lift pass card is yours to keep and can be recharged. There is no return or refund of cards.
  • You can recharge a key card purchased at the Niseko United Online Shop with a HIRAFU + HANAZONO lift pass.
    Please note that you are unable to sign in with account information registered in the Niseko United Online Shop.
    If you wish to recharge a lift pass purchased from the Niseko United Online Shop, please register a new account / lift pass user in the Hirafu-Hanazono Online Shop.
  • Only one type of lift pass can be purchased on the card.
    If you purchase more than one type of lift pass at the same time (including HIRAFU + HANAZONO), the card will not function correctly.
    Please commence using the first lift pass purchased before purchasing another.
  • Lift passes are non-transferable, and resale of cards is prohibited.
  • If lift passes are damaged or lost, reissuing the keycard has a fee of up to 3,500 yen (including the cost of the key card).
  • Preschoolers from the age of 4 years and above, residing in Kuchan, are eligible for free 1 day pass or season pass. (Deposit is required for season pass).

    Lift passes for under 3 years of age are free. They will be issued the same ticket as parents or guardians up to 7 days maximum.
    Please apply for lift passes at a lift ticket counter on the day.
  • Lift and gondola operations are subject to weather conditions and may be canceled without notice.
